چکیده
We theoretically investigate the critical bias current $j_c$ for a superconducting (SC) ring in magnetic field. Based on Ginzburg-Landau theory, we show that exhibits Little-Parks (LP) oscillation as function of flux passing through ring, similarly to LP SC transition temperature. It is also found spin-triplet ${\bf d}$-vector rotates yield larger $j_c$, forming texture along circumference ring. Experimental implications our result are discussed.

Persistent current in small superconducting rings.
We study theoretically the contribution of fluctuating Cooper pairs to the persistent current in superconducting rings threaded by a magnetic flux. For sufficiently small rings, in which the coherence length xi exceeds the radius R, mean field theory predicts a full reduction of the transition temperature to zero near half-integer flux. We find that nevertheless a very large current is expected...

متن کاملEvidence for spin selectivity of triplet pairs in superconducting spin valves.
Spin selectivity in a ferromagnet results from a difference in the density of up- and down-spin electrons at the Fermi energy as a consequence of which the scattering rates depend on the spin orientation of the electrons. This property is utilized in spintronics to control the flow of electrons by ferromagnets in a ferromagnet (F1)/normal metal (N)/ferromagnet (F2) spin valve, where F1 acts as ...

We propose four different mechanisms responsible for the paramagnetic or diamagnetic persistent currents in normal metal rings and determine the circumstances for changes of the current from paramagnetic to diamagnetic and vice versa. This might qualitatively reproduce the experimental results of Bluhm et al (2009 Phys. Rev. Lett. 102 136802).
